Offgrid Diary – Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 July 2025
Offgrid Diary was built for people who don't want their thoughts—or their data—online. We keep it simple:
1. We don't collect anything by default
- No analytics, no ad SDKs, no trackers.
- No cookies on the landing page.
- No personal data is harvested when you browse the site.
2. Data you choose to share
If you join our wait-list, we store only your e-mail address so we can send early-access or product updates.
- No names, profiles, or extras.
- You can unsubscribe or request deletion anytime: just reply to any e-mail or write to privacy@offgriddiary.app.
3. Hosting & logs
Our site is hosted on Vercel. Like most providers, Vercel automatically records basic server logs (e.g., IP address, browser type) to keep the service secure. We don't access or combine these logs with any other data.
4. No data leaves your device
The iOS app itself stores every journal entry locally on your phone, encrypted with AES-256. Nothing is sent to our servers—ever.
5. Your rights
- Access / delete: ask and we'll erase the e-mail you gave us.
- Questions: reach out at privacy@offgriddiary.app.
That's it—short and clear. Enjoy truly offline journaling.
